Mind, body and soul are often neglected as we move through life with the single-minded mission to nurture everyone but ourselves. That is until we receive a wake-up call through symptoms, illness or a disease.
And then it's increasingly difficult to gain enough reliable, independent information to make an informed choice about how to proceed. Even more challenging is to develop a strategy for health recovery and wellness creation when we don't have the time or the expertise to do this.
As a result of her own experience and research and over a 30-year career in medical information and management at both the Vancouver Hospital Medical Library and the Woodward Biomedical Library at the University of British Columbia, Joyce Friesen developed her Wellness Assessment and Health Recovery Program.
This Program will help clients sift through myriad volumes of information, discard the chaff and synthesize the relevant nuggets of wisdom into a system that works for them. All processes, modalities and therapies recommended will reveal the root cause of a physical, mental, emotional or psychic problem along with how to resolve these issues as they move towards creating an integrated, rewarding and balanced existence.
